Mix'd Ingrdnts

Mix’d Ingrdnts is a multi-ethnic, multi-genre dance collective composed of female-identified artists, who work together with the intent to contribute to the impact of social change.

About

The company does this through urban performance, dance education and connection, while cultivating a stronger community of artists of all ages and mediums, through process workshopping and mentorship.

Mix’d Ingrdnts Dance Company was established in 2010 and exists to empower women to express themselves. The company also aims to empower youth through dance knowledge, life skills, conversation, and movement in order to positively impact their lives, so that they can impact others and their communities.

Mix'd Ingrdnts strives to inspire those around them and through skillful artistry, uses their platform to continue to pave pathways for womxn and youth to authentically express themselves and utilize their very important and necessary voices. 

 

Mix’d Ingrdnts es un colectivo de danza multiétnico y multigenérico compuesto por artistas que se identifican como mujeres, que trabajan juntas con la intención de contribuir al impacto del cambio social. La compañía hace esto a través de las presentaciones, la formación dancística y las conexiones urbanas, a la vez que cultiva una comunidad más fuerte de artistas de todas las edades y disciplinas, a través de talleres y tutorías de sus procesos.
 
La Mix’d Ingrdnts Dance Company fue establecida en el 2010 y existe para que las mujeres ganen confianza en sí mismas y puedan expresarse. La compañía también busca hacer lo mismo para las juventudes a través del conocimiento dancístico, habilidades para la vida, conversación y movimiento para tener un impacto positivo en sus vidas, de modo que puedan impactar a otras personas y a sus comunidades.
 
Mix'd Ingrdnts se esfuerza por inspirar a aquellas personas que rodean a los integrantes de la compañía y, a través de su habilidad artística, utiliza su plataforma para seguir abriendo caminos para que las mujeres y las juventudes se expresen con autenticidad y utilicen sus voces que son muy importantes y necesarias.

A Poem In Three Parts, Part 3: Meet Me There
The Othering & Belonging Institute commissioned poet Michelle Lee aka "Mush" to write and perform a poem in three parts on bridging and belonging for the 2021 Othering & Belonging Conference. We will be premiering this poem and accompanying visuals—featuring an array of dancers, aerialists, and performers of all kinds—in three digital shorts directed by filmmaker Yoram Savion, with creative direction from conference emcee Sarah Crowell.
