Operationalizing Belonging Through Democracy:—Strategies for Achieving a Just, Multiracial Democracy
The racial inequities we see across the country were created via direct and intentional policies and practices. We are seeing communities across the country changing policies to address these historical legacies and current realities. From equitable water in San Francisco to cultural equity in Oakland and new cannabis laws in California, cities are working in partnership with communities to use racial equity tools to drive to racially equitable outcomes. This workshop will feature leaders within local government.
